ABOUT
Helping the professionally disorganised : allowing you to do less to achieve more
Meet me, Chrissie, the Owner, Director and organisational genius behind PA Bliss
Despite my youthful looks (ha!), I have almost 15 years' experience working in various legal support positions, starting my legal career at the tender age of 20 working for a sole practitioner solicitor in Bristol. Since then I obtained my Bachelors of Law from Cardiff University in 2012, completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Computing and Information Systems from the University of South Wales and successfully ran a from home baking business for several years, whilst raising my young son. I have also worked for various solicitors in South Wales, ranging from sole practitioners to international law firms, and everything in between.
And, because I wasn't busy enough, I also completed my Yoga Teacher Training in the summer of 2018 and taught regular classes until late 2019 when I decided to concentrate on this business (although I do the odd cover class, now and again).
With a diverse background in many different areas of law, including Family, Matrimonial and Children Act, Employment, Corporate, Commercial, Litigation and Criminal, I can offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to lawyers and legal services providers. In addition to this, I also have extensive experience in project management, business administrations, including process analysis, evaluation and implementation. Working as a Project Executive co-ordinating the various offices in Europe needed all of these skills and more! I'm not quite sure how I managed to fit it all in, to be honest, but I did.
I have worked with solicitors, law firms, creatives and a yoga studio or two, so have a diverse portfolio and a pretty impressive skill-set, even if I do say so myself. I pride myself on being reliable, efficient and resourceful. I've spent my career working with lawyers up to, and including, Equity Partner. I have also worked at Director level, providing PA and EA support to the HR Director of global law firm Eversheds Sutherland. Therefore, I am well-practiced in diplomatic, flexible and pragmatic assistance, with high levels of confidentiality.
The Mission
I am passionate about delivering a high quality, professional service and have a nifty ability to allow people to do their best work and let them shine. So I created PA Bliss with a mission to provide the highest level of personal assistant and business services, supporting sole traders, start-ups and small businesses, with a particular interest in supporting solicitors and legal/business service providers. I can appreciate and understand how challenging it can be to delegate part of your business to someone else - as a self-confessed control freak, I understand this better than most! However, I will work closely with you, at your pace, to build a collaborative, long-term relationship. I want nothing more than to create a supportive and trusting partnership which will benefit both our businesses and your clients and customers.
If you want to talk business (or yoga!), drop me an email.
